About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, François-Xavier Leduc, you will build and lead DeepIP's Success & Solution organization - combining two functions intentionally into one high-impact role.
You will own the full pre- to post-sales motion: from technical pre-sales and POC design, through onboarding and adoption, to renewal and expansion. Because both Success and Solution report to you, the handoff is seamless - and the north star is singular: make every client a reference account.
This role is ideal for a proven operator in B2B SaaS who combines the rigour of a CS leader (GRR, NRR, health scoring) with the credibility of a Solutions professional (patent workflow depth, attorney-facing demos, technical sign-off). You are a builder first - someone who creates playbooks, deploys systems, and holds north stars accountable.
Your Responsibilities
Own GRR ≥ 93% and NRR ≥ 150% as personal KPIs
Build the unified operating model: pre-sales qualification, onboarding, health scoring, renewal motion - documented, running, and measured
Drive time-to-value to ≤ 2 weeks (contract → first live workflow)
Lead churn detection proactively
Maximize product adoption
Improve win rate through structured Solution involvement
Automate ≥ 40% of repetitive CS & Solution workflows using AI-native tools
Build and ship CRM dashboards and KPI tracking in HubSpot
Manage and develop a team of 2 CSMs, 1 Customer Support, and 2 Patent Solution Engineers (with additional headcount in the pipeline)
Earn credibility with patent attorneys by mapping and transforming their real workflows, language, and processes
Serve as a cross-functional sparring partner to the CEO and VP Sales on retention and expansion strategy
About You
We are not looking for a relationship manager or a high-level strategist. We want a hands-on operator who builds systems, leads from the front, and holds themselves accountable to numbers - not just narratives.
You have
7+ years in Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, or a combined CS/Solution role at a B2B SaaS company
Personally owned GRR and NRR as KPIs - not just team metrics
Built or rebuilt an onboarding & adoption program from scratch
Deployed AI automation in CS or Solution workflows in production (not just piloted)
Comfortably manage a dual-function team (CSMs + Patent Solution Engineers)
Native-level fluency in English
Bonus Points

Patent lifecycle fluency: prosecution, drafting, office action response, portfolio management
Former patent attorney, agent, or IP specialist background
Legal tech, IP management software, or fintech vertical SaaS experience
Experience in a hypergrowth phase
