Product Marketing Manager
About Us
DeepIP is helping patent agents and attorneys streamline the process of drafting patent applications. This product leverages the latest advances in AI—like foundation models—to accelerate the fundamental steps involved in building these applications. In 2024, we have experienced tremendous growth, and we’re looking for passionate, driven individuals to help us accelerate further and reach new heights.
We are a team of collaborative hustlers, ambitious learners, and ownership champions. If you're excited about a fast-paced, flexible environment where growth is celebrated and every day brings new possibilities, join us on this exciting journey 🚀.
As we build DeepIP, we are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join us in Paris.
About the role
Be the translator between what DeepIP builds and how everyone else experiences it — Sales, Customer Success, prospects, and new users. Own the product's story end to end: the demo that shows it, the visuals and materials that explain it, the training that spreads it internally, and the guides and onboarding emails that help users actually adopt it.
This is not lifecycle or brand marketing. It's product marketing as a hands-on production function — embedded with Product, Sales, Marketing and Support, always working from what's actually shipping.
You are a maker first: someone who can sketch the illustration, script the demo, run the training, and write the how-to guide, not just brief someone else to do it.
What You'll Own
Product release campaigns structuring
Design a repeatable release process: for each significant release, translate the feature list into a structured problem/solution narrative with clear value and a named persona.
Work with the Demand Gen to plan 360 campaigns that resonate and generate pipeline
Demo Flow & Product Narrative
Own and maintain the core demo flow — the story Sales tells, end to end.
Integrate new features into the demo as they ship, so it never falls behind the product.
Make sure the narrative stays coherent as the product grows, not just feature-by-feature bolted on.
Product Content & Illustration
Produce the illustrations, diagrams, and visual materials that explain how the product works — for decks, one-pagers, in-app moments, and the demo itself.
Build marketing materials tied directly to product capabilities (one-pagers, leave-behinds, feature explainers).
Own and update all product-related content to be published
Enablement & Training
Run training sessions for Sales and CS whenever the product or demo changes, and check that the story actually landed. Your goal here is to help increase the win/rate.
Be the go-to source of truth on "how do we talk about this feature" internally.
Identify the top 3–5 competitors actively appearing in pipeline through AE debriefs and CRM data.
Produce a battle card per competitor: their positioning, their weaknesses, DeepIP's winning arguments, proof points, and landmines to avoid.
Build a "when you hear X" response guide for the most common competitor-planted objections and FUD.
QA & Release Support
Sit in on QA sessions ahead of releases to catch gaps between what's built, what's documented, and what's demoed.
Flag mismatches between product behavior and the materials/demo before they reach a prospect or custome
Guides & Onboarding
Write how-to guides that actually make sense — clear, task-oriented, written from the user's confusion outward rather than the feature inward.
Write and maintain onboarding email sequences that drive activation for new users.
About you
English native
B2B SaaS background, ideally in a product marketing or product-adjacent content role
Experience in IP, patents, or legal services — either as a marketer or as a practitioner
Experience at a high-growth, Series A/B startup
Demo flow ownership — building and maintaining a sales demo flow in a fast-shipping environment, keeping it current as the product evolves
Strong instructional writing — how-to guides, onboarding emails, or training material that a confused user or new rep can actually follow
A portfolio demonstrating long-form content: case studies, whitepapers, market reports, or similar. Quality matters more than volume.
Genuine, hands-on comfort producing visual content: illustrations, diagrams, or product explainer visuals (not just briefing a designer)
Comfortable sitting in QA/release conversations and asking "will anyone understand this?"
A maker's instinct: default to producing the asset yourself rather than routing it to someone else
Nice to have
Familiarity with demo/illustration tools (Figma)
Experience with help-center or onboarding tooling (Intercom & Notion)
